It seems this weekend was supposed to be a Lucky weekend (more pick/key drops, double lucky/unlucky points), but instead of changing it into Wintersday Redux they pasted it over the lucky weekend and forgot to take that out. So it's double fun!

Gah! That was the very last weekend event I had been waiting for on the GW1 side and now they ninja'ed it and I didn't even log in during the weekend. Can we have a rerun next weekend, please!

Since the weekend events are "automated" now, the double lucky/lockpick event is probably over. It'll be nice that the PvP people will have a heads up on their event this weekend, or at least know to look around for double w/e points

well I went to Ascalon Foothills and was using some lockpics testing a build. Low and behold.. I was getting 500 lucky per retention. My retention rate is 88% so I retained quite a bit.
In 3 hours I managed 60,000 lucky points. I asked my guild.. um why am I getting 500 points to the lucky per retiontion of my key. I got flamed. Unfortunately for me that was sunday night. I have 232 lockpicks left. I played 10 hours on sat and 3 on friday night. I could have gotten 260,000 points in that span and that would have given me Golden had I known.
Anet, please announce this when it comes out as I am looking to MAX this title. So with 232 keys at 88% it should be able to open 1900 chests by the time I break all of my picks. * i will reach Golden before they are gone giving me 2% more retention* so this number is reasonable.
that will yield me 475,000 more lucky and I will be half done with the title

I mentioned the issue to Regina last night. She promised to forward it to those concerned but said that the weekend events are basically automated and there's little chance of a rerun

They can't/won't make an exception for an event that happens only twice a year?

I hope it gets posted as soon as someone figures out what it is - assuming there is one hidden behind wintersday. It was kind of nice to be able to switch back and forth and avoid burnout from grinding one thing all weekend.

I noticed this last night, had two orange dyes drop within the space of around 3 minutes.
